I found two classic animated films from the 60's on YouTube, the Wan brothers classic Havoc in Heaven and the other, a film for people under eighteen to avoid, the Mushi Pro film 1001 Nights. These links don't work unfortunately, so you'll have to copy the URL. This new version of blogger is a nuisance.

Hey, you're back! Fantastic, I wouldn't know of a lot of films if it wasn't for you.

Thanks for noticing these two - I already have these on DVD but they're not subtitled so it's mostly guess-work as to what's going on (and being familiar with the stories they're based on helps as well).

Love the soundtrack to 1001 Nights!

A large part of the reason I've not posted in a while is that I've run out of animated films to watch and had to pursue other interests like science fiction books and graphic novels. For my sources, the most obvious is Wikipedia, but there's also an IMDb search that helps you find real rarities. For finding out more about a film, the only trick I know is to look up films in foreign language search engines.

Myself, I have Jean-Francois Laguionie's Gwen and the Isle of Sand on DVD unsubtitled and rely on the subbedfilms3 channel for the version with subtitles.
